Guongzhou

My heart is someplace else tonight, but I want to document this day for Jian.

We flew to Guongzhou this morning. Our little band of baby seekers packed up and headed out for babies' first plane ride. A few screamed most of the 2 hour flight, but the loudest baby on board, JIAN, slept the whole flight! On Lizzy's chest, of course!!! Thank goodness! He seems to love cars, buses and planes! Let's hope so, since we will have a 14 hour plane ride next week!

Tomorrow we go to the clinic to get all the babies checked out. They all need a checkup before we can get them out of China!!! Really?!?!
We start out at 8:00 am for the bus ride to the clinic. Not looking forward to that! I am sure all 6 babies will be on full volume!

It is very hot here, however, the amenities are much nicer! The pool is nicer and outdoors which seems so much better for Cash. There is a kiddie play area and the walk is much shorter to go places.

Jian seems to feel more at home with each passing hour and day. He follows Cassius around just like every other little brother. They really love each other. It warms your heart to watch. I love when we catch this in action, giggling, playing and Mark says, "yes, this is it." It is such a blessing. This morning Mark got on his knees and called his family in for a family hug! I took a pic but it doesn't tell the whole story. It was beautiful to watch.

At the last hotel, we had rooms across the hall from each other, this time we have adjoining rooms. As I was talking to sister Betty tonight, I heard Jian's sweet little voice singing. Beautiful!
