Tomorrow is my last day here with my east coast family! It was such a joy tonight to be surprised with an amazing dinner that Idie made for ALL of us (I think there was 50 or so of us for my bday dinner). I wanted to see all my brothers, sisters, neices and nephews before I left and didn't know when I would fit that in! That Idie is something else!! The whole package as they say!! I will miss them but I am axnxious to get the show on the road. Today I was thinking about Mark (my son-in-law) Thinking I don't want to be in his shoes. Not only is this a HUGE undertaking financially (if not already, wait till his mother-in-law has an opportunity to shop!) but the worry of his little family and how this whole adventure will play out! I am sure those things are going through his mind even though he knows God is in charge and all will be well! He is a super Dad! His generosity and kindness are boundless. He is always willing to take care of whatever needs to done behind the scenes in his quiet yet commanding way. I am not worried at all as long as he is there to take care of us!! I know he is going on little sleep since he is working double time before taking off the next few weeks! HOWEVER, he found time to send me an email about the SHOPPING OPPORTUNITIES!!!
Let the adventure begin!!!!!
I feel like I already know our little grandson. Every day we are getting snipets about him! He is growing and we hate missing these minutes with him!!! WAAAA! They said that he is called Jian but the 'foreigners' call him Max. His sponser gave it that name. We got this today:
"Along with a committed group of co-ordinators, I have been involved in establishing a program for the toddlers to promote communication. We appropriately named it SMART (Singing/Signing, Music And Rhythm Time ) because Max and all of his little buddies are "super SMART" ".
"He is definitely a "boys boy" and prefers the transport themes so his first adventure going home on the aeroplane (Chinese name: fēijī baby sign: pointing and looking up to the sky) will be filled with excitement and hopefully a little familiarity!"
