Before I go...

Today is Saturday, June 1st. Just a few short days and I will be leaving for California to be with Sonny, Lizzy, Mark and Cassius! I will spend a day with Sonny before boarding a plane to travel 17 hours to China!! We will be picking up our newest grandson, Jian! We have been in love with his picture for so long, the anticipation of holding him is overwhelming!  While I am totally over the moon excited to share this experience with my kids, I realize I have never left the love of my life, Paul for so long a time! As much as I will miss him, my girls and grandchildren, there is nowhere else  in the world I would rather be!!! I will post daily to record our time in China. I am expecting it will be exhilarating and extremely emotional! I can't wait! Keep us in your prayers for safe travel and smooth sailing with our adoption! This is the first adoption on both sides of our very large family (that I am aware of)  so I know that my family feels as invested as I do!! love to all my loves!
